During my previous studies of psychology, I found that the development of psychology in my area was slow, and the problem of the disabled and the aging population was prominent, and the government was facing increasing pressure on social security. With these questions, I participated in this project. The content of the course gave me a deeper understanding of these problems and allowed me to find some possibilities to solve them.

In my opinion, technology will develop in the form of cross-integration with life science, such as the technology that cross integrates information technology with the brain, to restore the ability to communicate and even to live independently. As far as I know, the world's existing disabled population is about 1 billion, accounting for about 15% of the global population. Most of the disabled people have lost their independent living abilities and communication ability. At the same time, most parts of the world are facing an aging population, and the proportion of elderly people is increasing year by year. The government needs to bear heavier economic burden and labor costs to provide protection for the elderly. Therefore, in many countries, the rights and needs of the elderly cannot be well met. Technological development provides a possibility to solve this problem. If people use external equipment to interact directly with the brain, bypass other organs of the body, through a comprehensive analysis of the brain, nerve repair and connect other devices and other arms, it can help people in need to communicate and pour water, eat and other living abilities. And from the economic point of view, such technology can improve the recovery level of the disabled, improve the labor abilities and employment rate of the disabled, while improving their own economic value but also reduce the burden of social subsidies.

However, any science and technology that can improve the human body's own abilities will be accompanied by certain ethical problems. For example, some healthy adults may be dying to use this technology to transform themselves and go beyond their own limits, which is unfair to others of the same level and may produce some discrimination. However, the benefits of this technology are great to human beings, many countries have been conducting relevant research in the field, I think in the next 50 years, this technology should be limited to the disabled, the elderly and laboratory research, which may broaden the application scope and operation function of external equipment through a wireless connection to the brain, but the application of technology will be limited by relevant national laws and relevant departments, and people who want to apply this technology need to submit relevant applications. So I think we should maintain the exploration and research of brain nerves, and such technology is based on human brain science research. Only by constantly exploring the research progress of periodic renewal of brain function can we promote the application of such technology at a more high speed.

I think Lecture 7: Animal Welfare by Dr. Manuel Berdoy, Lecture 10: Medical Research Ethics by Dr. Andrew Papanikitas, Seminar 7: Medical Research Ethics by Dr. Andrew Papanikitas, and Special Guest Lecture: Working on David Attenborough Documentaries by Mr.Gavin Thurston helped me a lot to widen my horizons and to learn more about current issues. Before participating in the program I have learned two years of psychology knowledge, but I always think psychology is a very philosophical and ethereal subject. After participating in the program, greatly broaden my cognition of the world and the diversity of knowledge absorption. Not only that, but I also found that I was very interested in the media, and I also participated in related media activities in school. About to enter my junior year, I was also wondering which subject direction should I choose for further study. After searching for relevant news, I found the cross-discipline, Communication psychology can not only continue my undergraduate psychology content, but also use psychological basis to the media direction of learning and exploration. And the Communication psychology work I can do in the future is what I am interested in and confident.

So what does interdisciplinary research bring about? The outcomes of interdisciplinary collaboration are designed to explain or solve problems and achieve   a synthesis of human understanding. A Chinese idiom called Chu Lei Pang Tong means that horizontal correlation will move towards a world of understanding. Why is it easy to achieve innovation? Because the knowledge complementary breaks the isolation of discipline and expands the scope of cognition. A scholar who does not try to participate in the interdisciplinary cares about interdisciplinary, may not even understand other people's thinking. Interdisciplinary research enables scholars to establish a better knowledge system and conduct a more meaningful research between    different disciplines. Psychology is a typical cross-discipline. At first I do not understand why I need to learn medical-related courses, but interdisciplinary learning of this curriculum can help me quickly establish a human cognition for people. If just learning psychology courses but not other courses, we may not be able to distinguish the patient is an organic disease or psychological problems. I originally thought the content of the subject I learned was very limited and the application range is small. But in this course, I found that most professors have very diverse interdisciplinary learning and research, and can use the knowledge of one subject to give different explanations and put forward different ideas, which means I can also use the psychology knowledge in the media research. In the field of the psychological education function, based on the theoretical and practical results of new media, people pay more and more attention to the era of psychological education communication mode innovation, in today's information age, the use of new media communication      knowledge to psychology research and construction is very necessary and effective. At the same time, I think dialectical research is helpful to my future research because the research direction I am interested in is the humanities and social sciences, which needs thinking in many different directions. The dialectical problem is the key to the research, which is also a research means and thinking way that I think I still need to constantly learn from.
